Great tanker strike team water shuttle,shows what we can Do if we work together, the fire marshall from caldwell county was very impressed.

It�s with the deepest sympathies that we mourn the passing and serious injury of brothers from Columbia Fire Department Engine Co. 4 (South Carolina). Firefighter Chance Zobel passed away a short time ago from injuries sustained from a vehicle collision on I-20 while working a grass fire on the side of the interstate. Firefighter Larry Irving also of Engine Co. 4 was struck as well and has multiple injuries and is expected to survive. Firefighters of Station 40 extend our thoughts and prayers to the families of these heroes.

To All Departments-there has been 2 LODD's and 2-near LODD's in the last 10 years (including myself). I urge all deparments to have there membership properly insured. We need to learn from these incendents. - 6100
