2008 Fire Boat

The New Hope VFD dedicated their new Fire Boat "Sloan Pettus" in memory of their first fire chief Sloan Pettus. The ceremony took place at Harbour Town Marina on Lake Wyle. The Pettus Family participated in the ceremony. After the ceremony the Pettus Family and members from the New Hope VFD were able to ride on the boat.
